As a Natural Hair Stylist, I often find that professional women with natural hair feel they are limited in their hair style choices. It is quite the opposite. Wearing your hair natural opens up a world of options. Wearing your hair natural allows you to enjoy all worlds- straight, curly, kinky, loced and everything in between.

Nu-Locs

The beautiful style above is a Loc Alternative. A Loc Alternative is a style option that allows you to have a loc look without the permanence of Locs. This style is done with yarn. Yarn is used for its soft texture, light weight, matte finish, and easy to care for sensibility.

The Office

Nu-Locs translate well as an appropriate hairstyle for the professional. Whether you choose to wear a suit for the board meeting, dress or slacks- your hair style will compliment your attire.

Maintenance

Perfect for the busy women. Nu-Locs really are wake-up and go hair; it’s really that simple.  You are not required to cover your hair nightly with a silk or satin scarf. If you choose not to cover your hair, you are required to sleep on a silk or satin covered pillow. You may shampoo your hair as often as you like. I would not recommend more than once-a-week. Oil your scalp as needed.
